Hey Jeff and Dean, I've followed all your postings about the "anticipator." I find this very interesting but I'll hold up a bit on implementing it on my car. I believe I understand how to implement it (thanks to both you, Dean, and Jeff on the 9-3 board).
If you want a more precise regulator, try http://www.norgren. I was able to register and log on so I guess I could buy. They have a 1-10 lb regulator (both relieving and not relieving) for $25 which would be ideal for an anticipator, allowing very precise settings.
On my car the available boost varies according to both temperature/humidity and fuel quality. But since I still have not had a fuel cutout, my car seems
to be doing OK. I'll try to keep from hammering it until I'm sure my A/F ratio is Ok. I think the way my car runs, with very few mods, has something to do with my silver spark plugs and the GTA fuel enhancer I use. I'll say more about these if anyone has any interest.
I think I want to implement an A/F ratio meter before I go any further. I know I can do a search on the board but what wouldl you recommend?
