I first noticed compomotive at the Maine Forest Rally a few years ago. Almost all the subarus/hundais were using them, and many of the other racers. They make relatively inexpensive, light, *run-flat* rims in whatever size/offset/pattern you need. I can't find the numbers right now, but they are not heavy.
Note the subie below, run-flats don't help when you knock the whole hub off.
