I have nothing to add all the info you have received til now is good.
We have data logged close to 2000F. This orcured when the timing was had too much retard. Fuel mixture was good. Rasied timing increased water injection rate and brought it down below 1750F and made more power. More fuel could have been dumped in but power would have went down. It is important to note that only temp before turbo should be used for close tuning. The temp after turbo can very a lot between setups. The size of the turbine housing flow compared to compressor size can effect temp drop accross turbine.
