There is a ridicoulously cool mountain road that I have driven many times. It's about five miles long and it goes up and over 1000 feet. It's pratically unused, but the pavement is very clean. One day while haveing a little fun, I felt like a broke my brakes...

The car still was able to stop, but something seemed weird...

When I got the wheels off, I could see that the friction material had sheered off the back plates, all four of the front pads where in two pieces!

The pads were KVR streets and where getting to the end of there life anyway...but damn, I've never seen that happen before!
