And there is the 3" speaker baffle flairs that would be better yet *. Not expensive. A few folks have used these.
If you post form, a hot air gun mighty work well. I also thought of capping the ends, heating the middle and inflating with some low air pressure, then pushing the ends to shorten things to try to get a reverse curve. If you get a 10 ft length, there is plenty to play with.

* they have the ideal profile to reduce 'entrance' losses. But any transition to a larger diameter is works. The ideal transition would be 3 diameters in size. No room for that. If you have seen 'velocity stacks' on race carb etc, thats what you need. I have searched for things like that and never found a source. They would be spun aluminum, thin and light.
