Hi dean, Today I did get a trial test to get the feel of the MBC+A mod. I just plugged the hose to the WG actuator and went for a spin. Real nice!!Of course I got fuel cuts outs a few times but just before that was pure pleasure. I think I have become a boost junky! By the way what's the cut out pressure for mine 97SE
Tomorrow I'll get the K&N filter and today I bought the ABS black pipe to do the 3" snorkel modification. The 3" Nominal Pipe Size (about 90 mm OD) pipe is huge and I think is going to be a problem to fit it in the tiny air filter box. The OD of the pipe is about 5 mm bigger that the box width where the snorkel enter the box. I think tonight I am going to machine the pipe down with a lathe I have at work. That will help by reducing the WT and give some flexibility so I can make the hole a bit oval and avoid grinding the side wall of the box. A believe the airbox is abs as well. This way I should be able to glued the pipe to the box using ABS cement. I'll keep you posted.
