My Brother-In Law is an avid autocrosser with a 99 STi. After Turbo charging it (with countless computer problems) he blew out the (2nd gear) Transmission showing off in town. He replaced it with stronger WRX gears with a longer Second gear for Auto -Xing. It is an amazing thing to drive when its working right, but it really confirms my belief that in today's car market you need to buy fast first then tweak it, The variables are numerous and expensive. Going from a C900 to an Ng900 SE I am trying to resist all urges to mess with the engine, there is plenty to mess with in just the suspension.
