I think the C900 would probably do fairly well. Still be some heat soak in traffic, as the area is still pretty small.

Actually I have long row Garrett core. Less CFM than than short row of the same width (far less)----but still quite good. Chap locally is using this same one I have for 350hp Prelude. THe cooling effieciency is very good with the internal turbolator thingies.

I ddin't spend that much actually, but I agree taking the temp readings is a good idea. Autometer has a guage now that can take 2 separate readings...maybe I'll try one of those?

When I'm really serious about optimum efficiency I'll whip out the calculator, but what I have is far better than my OEM on my 88 9000T.

A poor design originally on the 9000: the IC being sandwiched between the rad and the AC. All our talk about heat dissipation gets thrown out the window. I decided on a core that was fairly wide, thick and of average height, as I wanted 100% of the core getting clean air from under the bumber. It's a matter of picking OK over so-so if you get what I mean. Even in traffic on a hot day, the outlet end tank is quite cool compared to the very warm inlet tank. I guess I di 'ok' with hte core. I'm sure I can do better, but for a couple hundred bucks for a 1 low miles core that fits OEM tubes, can't go wrong;-)
