I recently upgraded from 15 to 17 inch wheels (the EVOs). My steering has seemed quite different ever since. The best words I can use to describe it are vague and over-assisted. It feels like there is more play in the wheel right to left. It probably is not related, but there is also a popping noise when I turn the wheel station to station.

I have an MPPerformance VRK and have replaced all three of the control arm bushings with poly. I was expecting the new wheels/tires to really be the finishing touch. I have given the tires (PNero Zero M+S) time to break in and still the same issue. I spent eight hours on the highway over the weekend and the steering just does not feel right.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I am about to add a new downpipe and exhaust to go with my MBC+A and really want to make sure I can control the thing!
