Being a mathematician, I've always appreciated a healthy dose of skepticism until a good argument or proof proves otherwise. However, I also appreciate experience and practice when considering theories and calculations. Modelling always involves some assumptions and simplifications which may differ from the real world. What you're saying about the green giants must surely be modeled with some assumptions. I'm just curious because I've been to dyno events where people were getting 300 hp running the stock injectors. Their air/fuel ratios were a bit on the lean side, at peak power/boost. I'm sure their duty cycle was at 100%, too. Your calculations for the green giants have me curious about what their actual duty cycle is. I'm very numerate and can develop equations for various types of engineering models. However, not being an automotive engineer, I'm not familiar with the models used for injectors - perhaps you could list a few references or sources where I could get a better grasp of these models, or are your calculations based on models that you developed?
