Sorry i just still dont understand, i do a fair of racing my self. Lots of Drag racing, and street. Light to light 1/8mile, light to whatever till another gives up, light to whatever my speed is in 1/4 mile, or just plain 1/4 mile marked on the street. As i stated earlier my previous 87 9k 2.0t was sort of a experiment when we guttted the interior(2565lbs without driver) bypassed the apc, 3" exhaust, 3bar FPR, and dynoed 225fwhp/295fwtq the car ran 13.3at107mph 1/4 mile, now just to compare a stock turboed older 9k that i had with some weight reduction, a 540i does a 1/4 like in low 14sec 14.3at95-97mph somwhere in that range. low 14s and low 13s the difference is HUGE, and i can guarantee you if i ran against one at lest say 400meter track and i had 1 sec lead on it by 400meters which is like 8-10 car lenghts going that fast, 540i would never have enough power to overcome my pull, stop me from pulling and gain those 8 car difference back and then pass me by 1800 meters no way.
