Well, like I said, my 9-3 is 3300 pounds with me in it. The very same day I had it dynoed at 228 whp, it ran the 14.2 at 102 and the 14.23 at 102. So, if your car weighs 3400 and runs a near identicle time, you have more than 200 whp. What mph are you hitting? That is the true indication of power. Also, you have a 2.3l, correct? If so, you probably have a bit more torque than my 2.0l, even when modded, so your car will be quicker in the mid range, but not necessarily top end.

You mentioned altitude, what was the temp? That can make a large difference. The track I ran at is at about 2400 ft and it was about 90F the day of those runs. Also, was the sub 14 a freak run? Or did you back it up a run or two later? Before my intercooler upgrade, my normal run was about 14.7-14.8 at Fargo, ND. On the same day in Fargo, I had a freak run of 14.49, but I could not back it up. The rest of the day, even as the weather cooled down, I could not beat a 14.7. So that is why I call my times 14.20 because I backed it up with a 14.23, with my normal runs in the 14.3-14.4 range.

And last thing I would like to mention, to hint that I think your car is much stronger than what you claim, is that a stock 9000 Aero, I assume that is what you mean by an Aero, runs a 1/4 in 14.8. Your car running a 14.2 is considerably quicker than that, at 14.2 and even sub 13. So either you have more power than my 9-3 or the gearing is that much more effective.

Anyways, have fun! And maybe one of these weeks, I'll make back to the track and maybe find the 2 tenths to get me into the 13s.
