My SAAB shop manual gives the following 1 rmove hood 2 disconect preheater hose 3 remove clutch cover 4 fit spacer 83 90 023 between clutch cover and diaphragm spring, have assistnt keep clutch pedal depressed while fitting 5 unkook the spring clip and rem,ove cover located in front of clutch shaft 6 remov clutch shaft plastic propeller 7 prise off clutch shaft by means of M8 bot at the shaft end and tool 83 93 175, withdraw the shaft as far as possible 8 remove the 3 slave cylinder retaining bolts 9 remove the clutch retaining bolts and remove simultaniously the clutch disk and slave cylinder complete with release bearings
