Well, my little book advises me NOT to use synthetic in my transmission. What's the deal with that (It's a 9000)? It says for all 9000's 87-97 'Caution: DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC'. Also, how about AMSOIL? I've been told that'll fix my problems too, and I'll never have to change it.
By the way, I do shift lightly under normal circumstances but I race my car on a weekly basis and shifting slowly hurts. It's not a matter of bettering my driving, it's a matter of needing to shift faster to improve my 1/4 mile time.
Thanks, Alex
