OH! You're racing!? I see. Is it bracket racing or straight out drag racing?
If it is bracket racing I thought the goal was consistency rather than flat out fast time?
Correct me if I am wrong.


Either way, of course it is grinding into second if you are trying to speedshift it. Try using
Redline or some other such gear oil designed for front-drive transverse engines with synchromesh.
BG makes a good one called 'Synchro'- something or another. I can't remember exactly what
it is named.


However, I suspect the damage is done and you'd only be putting a band-aid on the problem,
the 2nd gear synchro is wearing/worn out.
