If you install a locking fuel flap don’t forget to include a way to unlock the flap should the circuit or locking mechanism fail. I tied a piece of twine to the plunger of the lock mechanism and tied the other end off near a rear light socket. Remove the interior cover that provides access to change the right rear bulbs (in a Combi) and pull the twine to manually release the flap lock.
