Quick & Easy procedure too.... There is a Quick & Easy procedure described in the manual that all drivers should know, for those ocassions when it is raining cats and dogs and the window won't raise fully after stopping at a toll booth. Or any number of similar times....
1) Depress the window lock button.
2) While still holding the window lock button depressed, lift the window switch to close the window.
That's it! And it also works to manually over-ride the pinch protection on the sunroff.
I don't think the recalibration procedure performed by the Dealer, and fully described in the owner's manual, is difficult. No tools required, no specialized equipment required, just a few too many steps to remember easily and can't be performed while driving.
