The best trick is to make sure the customer leaves the car long enough to cool the engine off. The first 2 that I've done were on hot cars with the customers waiting.
On one of the small bolts (E15?) that secures the air pipe to the engine, I couldn't get a 1/4 drive socket in it (very tight location), so I think I used an 8mm gearwrench.
