Swap back after cleaning the AMM with electronics cleaner and the TB with carb cleaner. I've heard of the oil they use on those filters coating the wires in the AMM and throwing off air mass calculations.
I've never had on do what you're describing. Vacuum leaks usually lead to surging and bouncing idle. The other times I've had 9-3SS's stall out when they come to a stop has either been a bad crankshaft position sensor or an internal fault in the ECM.
