Please, I need all of your advise. My wife's 07 93 Aero CV "GM" warranty will expire on 5/21/12. We have a couple very minor issues going on, both related to squeaks and noises from some of the very cheap interior plastic trim pieces (area by the rear view mirror and also near the drivers door corner by the mirror). Knowing that my Government Motors warranty is about to expire I am asking my fellow Saab 93 owners to identify any common issues/problems I should "claim" to the dealer for inspection and/or most importantly replacement and repair. Her car has 26,000 miles on it.
This is a tough call for me -- to potentially "fake" a problem that I am not having a problem with but knowing this model will most likely have or become a problem with additional age. Given what "Government Motors" has done to our beloved Saab, I am throwing my ethical standards out the window.
So what have my fellow 93 (CV) owners experienced as common failure issues with your 93's -- remember I have 26,000 miles. I will be making an appointment with my my closest Saab dealer this week. I really appreciate your help and advice with my situation. This is my last hurrah so to speak. I want to get the biggest bang here especially knowing the dealership will make out on this. Thanks a ton for your input.
