I can't find much in WIS either. I would guess that the main pump uses a jet/venturi to draw fuel from the other side of the tank. Unfortunately it sounds like you may have to drop the tank. I wonder if a bad fuel level sender could cause this? The fuel level senders were improved from 2008 and up I think. We haven't had many problems with those.
