Wheew 2,9 is along way from 3,99 I'd offer it, say ill give you 2900 and when they say wow no way wait for a moment, do another walk around the car and say with the suspension lite on and high mileage on the auto tran's... 2900 cash now dosent hurt to remind the dealer all the faults the car has. One or two thing will happen you'll get the car for that price or you won't, if you walk away be happy you didn't buy a money pit and if you pick it up for that price be happy you got a super awesome deal. As for the seller if the car has been sitting on his lot for over 2months and no offers on it he'll jump at your 2900 if he just got it he won't move off if 3,500 so just wait and come back in a month if he didnt action the car by that time and offer 29 again. You and I know nobody will buy the car with that lite on
