Same thing here, 08 Aero XWD. Very cold morning, warnings appeared twice after 10 or 15 minutes, rebooted the car, nothing wrong after. Battery is good since the car started each morning, even at minus 24C yesterday.
Since the warnings were for ABS, TCS and Xenon, I guess it is the rear axle harness that is showing a little bit too much resistance. Or maybe the other harness, the one between the front of the car and the rear axle.
Anyway, I did order a rear axle harness that will be installed next week (OEM, 52 $CDN, made in Turkey). If the problem disapears, then we'll have another data point... My indie told me the harnesses on FWD cars are a common replacement item in his shop. He stocks FWD with Xenons harenesses, since they can be used on cars without Xenons too, for the same price.
Anyone had theirs replaced for a similar problem ?
