Our 2009 (100k miles) has what looks like a tear, but is really not torn THROUGH the underlying material. Our 2010 (60k) is showing wear but no tears yet.
Ours is in the center-bottom panel. It seems like the bolsters alongside this are a different material.
I'm interested to hear what people have found with different types of repair kits or techniques. It's funny how different suppliers contradict each other on how to prevent this from happening in the first place.
