Do you have a garage to keep the car in? How long will the top last before it needs to be replaced?
Also note that the hydraulic parts that operate the top have been known to wear out and can be repaired, even DIY, but if you are paying a shop to fix it be prepared for an enormous bill.
Add that price to your planned ownership costs. Finding reputable service for the Saab shouldn't be that big of a problem, but be ready to pay high prices for that service.
The 9-3's are known to have a bunch of stupid electrical issues. These can all be fixed, but if you aren't prepared for them, you'll be unpleasantly shocked at the cost of repairs.
My 2 cents: If you can afford it, go for it, you won't see another with that mileage.
But I think it would be best used as a weekend/summer cruiser.
If you are going to store it outside and need a daily driver, keep looking for a hardtop.
Get your insurance from a specialty insurance carrier, a regular insurance company will only cover a fraction of your investment, any even a small fender-bender will likely total the car.
