Push the off button while the car is running. Then, SIMULTANEOUSLY, push the off and rear defrost buttons. The display for the ACC panel will briefly flash once. As long as the power is then shut off and remains off for ten minutes, the next time you start the car, the OFF mode will be selected.
All of this is covered in the manual.
