Saab folks -

Just bought a (used) silver/dark grey 2001 2.3 LPT wagon, but have a couple of questions/observations. Car has just over 18,000 miles. I would appreciate your advice/comments:

1. Most troublesome, at low speed, starting and stopping (like slow traffic) there seems to be some clunking in the front end. While it doesn't seem to affect the driveability, it is *awfully* reminiscent of an old GM A-car. I would think that it is not normal for these cars. I do have the full warranty, and will address the issue next service, but I am wondering if others have noticed this, and if so, what some causes might be?

2. Are the ignition key surround and the sport button supposed to illuminate?

3. What cargo area accessories have some of you current owners found the most useful for day-to-day activity?

4. If any of you have child seats installed, have you disconnected the seat sensor and seat heater wires?

5. When new, did the cars come with a valet or some sort of *lesser* key than the monster now gracing my key ring?

Thanks in advance. I absolutely love the styling and handling of this car campared with our previous Volvo 850 turbo. It isn't quite as fast as the Volvo, but it looks like that can be rectified... :)
