It is cosmetic... Posted by Joe [Email] (#444) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Joe) on Mon, 10 Dec 2001 06:44:08 In Reply to: Re: Aero front air dam functional or cosmetic?, Lou, Sun, 9 Dec 2001 21:02:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
John,
I installed my front spoiler on my 2000 wagon. There are a number of small fasteners that you access from the bottom. There are a few that you need to loosen the inner fender and it helps if you jack the front up to access. The 4 center fasteners require you to thread the center plastic bit out and then pull the main part out. All in all not a bad job. Perhaps 1/2 hour to take off and 45 minutes to put on.
I have pictures of my car with and without the spoiler. Scroll down to the bottom and there are before and after pics.
Drive Safe,
Joe
