Poor quality panel welding on Aero wagons

Anyone noticed how poor the weld finishing is on the panel joints in places you don't see from outside the car? I just replaced my 2000 model 9-5 Aero wagon with a 2002 model and both were well rough around the panel joints, e.g. along the running boards, down the inside edges of the hatch surround. I guess it don't matter if you can't see it, except that in some places the weld finishes on both my vehicles were left with razor sharp edges which could cause minor injury. I was surprised at this.
