Seriously, it is more likely that the ergonomics of other vehicles have been inspired by SAABs-since they were among the first if not the first to have a wraparound, curved dash with all controls being within the drivers reach with large simple gauges and controls grouped by function. The Swedes have always followed the "form follows function" edict and that to some it may seem that a Sewdish car's interior is too spartan or too simplistic is for a purpose-so that a driver can concentrate on driving and not on all the complicated controls that seem to adorn premium cars nowadays.
I just don't even see the connection to the Toyota truck dash (and I know you've mentioned this before in previous posts).
Please enlighten us as to why you think this is so. I don't get it.
