Saab In Canada - Orphans for a while?

I dropped my 1999 9-5 SE at the autobody shop this AM and was told by the shop owner that obtaining all the needed parts for a rear bumper cover replacement was a trial. The GM dealer that was assigned the Saab file here in Winnipeg has stated they expected to be completely out of any Saab parts supply chain by the end of July. The official memo has not come from GM Canada but is expected any time.
Of course many parts are available from the good sponsors of this BB site. I have used them often. However, they DO NOT have everything and many times I had to use the local Saab dealer to order seals and little Saab-specific bits that vendors like eEuroparts do not list.
I will struggle keep my car going for a good while. It only has just over 166,500 km on the odo. One very positive thing is this very TSN BB, which is a unique and valuable resource in that struggle. Thanks to all here. The general courtesy and demeanour on this site is so far above the noise on much of the internet.
I really doubt if any dealer will pick up the Saab line here in short order. At least living next to the US enables the possibility of ordering items form a stateside dealer. Although, I'd bet MANY will not be interested in the hassle of shipping items across the border.
Trying not to be pessimistic but it is uncomfortable to anticipate some of the downtime waiting for nickle-dime parts in the future.
