I had the entire trunk ripped apart and there were no pre-wires whatsoever.
I used the 30 amp battery hot fuse position from the fuse block that was intended for trailer lights and ran a new battery hot wire back to the trailer wiring converter. Also installed a 12 volt cigarette lighter receptacle in the trunk while I was there, just for convenience.
I'm going to have to connect the car to my trailer I guess, and see what works or doesn't work.
