Your problem is likely a failed ABS controller Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 27 Feb 2012 12:03:32 In Reply to: 2000 9-5 SE Brake, ABS, TSC Lights, msl-msp, Mon, 27 Feb 2012 08:07:52 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Do you have a Check Engine Light too? Get the code read while the CEL is illuminated. If the error code is P1925 you will need to have your ABS controller rebuilt. I used BBA-Reman of Taughton, MA for this service, total cost with priority shipping both ways was under $200. They occasionally have sales for their rebuild services on e-Bay too.
Other problems with the ABS are less costly to repair so get the codes read before you start buying parts.
Your car is safe to drive as long as you remember the ABS is not working while the lights are illuminated.
