did the same although I think on the fix my saab site there may be a write about re-using the existing plumbing - but when I looked at how much fuss it would take trying to reuse the shrink tube I ended using fuel line and hose clamps. Has worked for over 2 yrs.
I am a cheaptech but would not consider using a used fuel pump unless I knew it was out of a very low mileage car.
