I would be willing to experiment. Still have some old pieces left from the last week's job. With new OEM bushings, I noticed that subframe flexes on them. Not comforable at all knowing that so little of the rubber holds everything together. So the size of the poly washers would have to be very precise. Still, constant flexing would probably destroy them.
All in all, dropping the subframe was not a bad job really. The hardest part was to remove rear engine mount. Taking bushings out was even easier and I will post some pictures soon. I used 27mm impact wrench socket and took them out in minutes. Used 30mm (I think) socket to press in. Considering that even Poly bushings could possibly transfer more vibration- I glad that I did what I did. My 02 Linear is now a different car, especially with new shocks, ball joints/tie rod ends and "newer" control arms with decent bushings.
