Had that happen with my wife's car (GMC Terrain, V6) - once in a blue moon, would have a puddle behind the right front wheel. Just enough to make a mess on the garage floor, but also not a material change in the coolant jug.
Finally, a few months ago, it was there two mornings in a row, and the coolant jug was low. It was the water pump.
The one time my Saab did something similar was a hot summer day, and looked like BPV failure (I saw it leaking and the jug was almost dry). After refilling the jug, restarting the car, it stopped leaking. Couldn't replicate the issue, but ended up replacing the BPV just in case (V6 -- no Mackay hose kit available)
