I don't think they started squeaking for about a year. They give you some grease with the kit. It usually only happens when you enter a driveway or something like that. I don't think mine were Powerflex, but some other blue ones from eEuro. I think you can pull them down pretty easy without disassembling the whole thing to grease, although I have not done it yet.
These are the only ones I have put in, never put back the rubber. The poly were effective, and easier to install
I think, but I am not sure, that you would be able to stuff grease in without pulling them down.
