Hello,
In your car due to the electronic throttle body that is how it controls your speed when cruise is activated. And since your light works it appears the switch is probably ok. If you had a tech 2 it will show you all the inputs and if they are good. If you have no engine codes or ABS codes the next logical place to check would be the brake switch for cruise. Maybe it just needs adjusted. Good Luck, Bernie
