Hello,
I have had 2 cars over the years that did something similar. 1 it was a fault in the module and I unplugged it and it stopped. The other I don't remember if the message was present or not but it was killing the bus and the car would not start.
On the sedan it should be located sort of behind the drivers side rear seat. You have to remove that seat filler panel between the seat and door opening. Then you can access the module to try unplugging it. The cruise probably gets some information off the bus so the module might be sending out some garbage that is shutting it down. Good Luck, Bernie
