My '08 SC Aero Auto was my 9th Saab and without question the best. Starting with the '75 99LE, I went through several 900T's, 9000's, a 9-3 convertible (#10 but I sold it after two years of various issues), but the 9-5 has been the most reliable, comfortable and versatile of all. It has been my daily driver since 2011 when I bought it with 61k miles, now showing 167K on the odo, it could possibly continue to 200-250K without any issues IMHO. But I'm replacing it with a 2016 Mustang Ecoboost 2.3 turbo convertible and only have enough room for two cars, Saab parts availability being the main issue. I don't think you can go wrong with a 9-5, '06 to '09 if you can find one in very good condition. Good luck.
