Oil drip... 1 Saabers Like This Post! Posted by PGAero [Email] (#1143) [Profile/Gallery] (more from PGAero) on Mon, 30 Oct 2023 11:08:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Howdy everyone!
My 2003 Aero started with a small oil drip a few weeks ago. I was putting off checking for the source since I was worried it would be the typical weeping around the chain tensioner. (Not a big deal, but I'd rather not.)
Anyway, I did my 5,000 mile oil change, and the leak is gone. I may have re-used the copper crush washer or just not had the drain plug clean and tight last time. Since the oil change (800 miles ago+/-), not a drip.
This feels like one of those rare occasions when the easy fix is what ends up being needed!
Cheers,
~P
