True, but so what....... The normal Saab incentive can be greater than that and you can't combine the two, I saw your eyes getting bigger....
If you could use the GM $5k loyalty and the Saab lease, which you can't as I read it unless I don't understand the phrase "cannot be combined with", you could lose out on up to $1,000 of Saab incentives availible to non GM loyalty folks on an Arc sedan for example.
Officially it's called the "GM Rev Up You Ride" loyalty bonus and it includes all GM owners which means Saab owners. Didn't get a loyalty certificate? GM didn't bother as the normal incentives are greater in every case.
There was a scenario where the $5k might get you a nickel more than the lease incentive on Linear and Arc SportWagons for Saab owner'lessees, but then I re-read the fine print and you can't combine the GM loyalty and the promotional lease program, whereas the regular Saab July lease promo does combine the incentive and the super low rates.
GM loyalty "cannot be combined" with Saab owner/lease loyalty, promo 0% financing, promo lease rates, incentives in lieu of 0%, or any of the normal Saab programs. GM loyalty does work if you're one of those lucky folks who purchased an Olds from 1996-2001ish or Olds Loyalty, but beware there are many, many conditions on Olds loyalty. I've struck out twice now on that. And GM loyalty works with the 9-5 Early out program, but so what, it's not a help.
