A few notes on ATF replacement

Roger posted some good notes on changing ATF using the transmission drain plug. A few notes after I did my 2000 9-5 Wagon 2.3l at 60K mi.
-Drain plug is very easy to remove with a 15/16" (very close to 24 mm) box end wrench. I used a combination and found that the box end let me turn the wrench at least a 1/3 turn.
-Drain plug had an aluminum crush gasket and a magnet in the end. My magnet had a bit of sludge on it, but nothing alarming.
-I drained/filled 3X using 9 qts of fluid( on jackstands you don't get the full 3.5 liters out). I ran it very briefly in each gear to purge the old oil--didn't want to run it too long and mix it thoroughly.
-The dealer swore up and down they flushed it at 30,000, but it was pretty dirty and didn't smell fresh at 60,000 I think I'll do this at 75,000 and see what it's like.
