Kerry,
I can tell you what will happen if you buy; you will get screwed on all the stuff that goes wrong with a Saab after three years! How do I know? I have had 4, including a 900, 9000, 95 V6, and currently an '02 Aero. On the first three, I have spent over $18,000 in service more than enough to pay for the little Scion I just bought my wife to take the place of the V6. The V6 had only 45k miles and the tensioner and pulley went and the timing belt came off costing $3,800 to fix (Saab only stepped up to $2,000). You want more? How about the A/T on my 9000CS that was maintained out the kazoo - the pump went at less than 60k miles; that was when the service manager told me the reason they stopped making the 9000 was because of the damn ZF transmission. It cannot be repaired; has to be replaced. That was $4,700 and I had to argue to get the AIG extended warranty guys to kick in their part (matched by me and the dealer). I am sick of Saab and their wonderful engineering.
