Sounds like a broken motor/trans mount, especially if you can feel the clunk in the shifter. These go bad on turbos all the time. I forget the exact price, but i think the mount is around $100. Could be less from sobstory. It takes about an hour to install. You need to remove the turbo hoses/pipes and the passenger side cooling fan to get at it. Then unbolt the mount and jack up the engine a bit to remove the mount.
