Really? have you had bad experience with Bosch Plats? I have used them in air cooled VWs, turbo Buicks, and assorted GM V8s and never changed plugs ever again. Pulled them at 30,000 miles and they looked great so they went back in. Don't know why SAABs should be any different. I'm only talking about platinum plugs here. I had regular Bosch once in a VW aircooled and wasn't particularly impressed. I have used plats in a 2v buick 231 six that burned a quart of oil with every tank of gas and they never fouled. I love them. We'll see how they are in a year. On another note, my dumbass brother put autolite (ford) plugs in a Chevy 305 and they sucked. We pulled them about an hour ago and put in new AC Delco. Much better. Use autolite in fords, and champion only in Mopars and lawnmowers. Speed kills. Play it safe and drive a ford.
