need year/model if you want restistance values for the valve itself. It sounds like you've already determined you need a new valve though. You need to be extremely careful when using a meter around these when running particularly if you are back probing the 3 wire AIC to measure the duty cycle. A short across the leads and you will ruin the AIC section of the ECU. If the valve is buzzing, you have a signal to it.
Having said that, I too would recommend owning a Bentley manual. I find now that I keep mine by my PC for helping others instead of in the garage. My second copy is with me at work for the same reason. But there's a real limit to the extent of what I'm willing to type when it's already on a printed page, partly because I can't touch-type.
Good luck and don't be shy about bringing your problems here. If everyone was, it would be a lame site.
