Coolant temp sensor: (Mounted on intake manifold)) Disconnect the harness. Measure resistance of the sensor across the terminals. -4F(-20C)=14000 ohms. 32F(0C)=5800 ohms. 68F(20C)=2600 ohms.
AIC valve. (three wire): LH2.2 and LH2.4.2..disconnect the harness from the Valve. Check for voltage at the blue/red wire...when the ignition is turned on, there should be battery voltage. (LH2.2, the voltage will only be present when the fuel pump is running, so it will be momentary for this check, unless you start the car). If voltage present, then check wiring continuity to control unit.
If this checks good, and you have your new valve installed, let me know...will provide more if/when required.
:::WARNING:::
Shorting across the terminals of the AIC valve can result in destroying the AIC section of the ECU.
Also, though they look similar, the AICs from LH2.2 and 2.4.2 ARE NOT interchangeable.
