Spring Question

My front springs make a noise similar to old bed springs. This is audible only when I go over speed bumps or something similar at low speeds of course. They have done that for the past year. I had new shocks installed (Gabriel-gas) a few months ago but it didn't solve anything. Why would my springs make this noise, if it is my springs.
Thanks,
Pedro
