A bad wheel bearing can somtimes cause pulsation, or sticky brakes or a number of other things, but I would bet your problem lies with the wheels. They could be out of balance, the wheel could be bent or the tire could have a broken cord. I would try switching the front and back wheels. If that changes things, get all four wheels balanced ($25 or so)
Most likely you just need the tires balanced.
